No, the title is not a superlative.

Gigantex is actually the source of many, many...many high priced brands' premium products. I was asked, however, not to share the identity of these brands with the world.

Just consider this one fact and then think laterally: Gigantex make over 200 000 carbon rims every year.

They also make carbon fiber cranks, stems, bars, seat posts, and an assortment of other parts and components. I already covered the some of the Gigantex rims in my previous post here: Of wheels and men.

I visited Gigantex a few days ago and met with Steve Lee, the majority owner and "the boss" of Gigantex. He is a really nice guy with a very interesting vision for Gigantex and about what a factory should look like.

Recently in a thread on www.roadbikereview.com a poster claimed that because Velocite wheels use rims that are made by Gigantex that they are the same as any other wheelset of similar lineage. This is c**p. We have three brands of wheels with Gigantex rims (Velocite, Edge, Pro-Lite), and all three brands are significantly different from each other and satisfy different performance parameters.
